Gameplay Programmer Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and producers, to create and implement innovative gameplay mechanics
• Develop, test, and debug gameplay systems, ensuring their smooth integration into the game engine
• Optimize and refine existing gameplay features to improve performance and enhance the player experience
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards
• Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues and ensure the successful completion of projects within deadlines

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, game development, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in gameplay programming, preferably in the AAA gaming industry
• Strong programming skills in C++ and experience with game engines, such as Unreal Engine or Unity
• A solid understanding of game design principles and an ability to translate design ideas into functional gameplay systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Bonus Points:

• A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of what makes a game fun and engaging
• Experience working on open-world or action-adventure titles
• Familiarity with console development and platform-specific requirements
